In saying that, I don't think anyone was getting upset about it, he was just saying it was stupid booking.
Also, house shows are selectively sometimes cannon. A lot of times, a title will change hands twice uncredited between two TV airings, and the original champ appers to have never lost... until they decide to do broadcast something like Kevin Nash's 9 second title win.
