You know what else worked toward being a face? The crowd chanting for him and popping wild and counting for the giant swing. Eveyone want him to turn on Heyman, and they teased a face turn... then he just split frm Heyman for no reason and with no angle or blow off and let him free fall.
But that's Cesaro's fault, I bet.
Along that same line, Axel should at least have been a solid midcarder by now. Instead, he was put in the role for Heyman that J&J Security is in for Rollins. Getting a couple flukey wins then getting jobbed ad made to look like a dumbass lackey isn't the way to follow through with touting a future star.
