True, but I'm still not feeling it. I can't see Reigns being the guy that seems most ready, and I could see his long-term relationships with crowds being damaged by such a strong push too early.

Ambrose isn't ready yet either, in my opinion. Daniel Bryan would have been fine, and I think Punk would be a fantastic choice if he were still on the roster. Cesaro could have been ready if he were pushed properly coming out of WrestleMania, but that's entirely moot now.

Dare I say that a babyface Orton might be the best choice right now, if Bryan doesn't get healthy in time.
