As of this past weekend, the plan was still for WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar to make his return on the December 8th Slammys RAW and for his first match back to be at the Royal Rumble, still against John Cena. We noted last night that this could be a potential spoiler for Cena vs. Randy Orton at Hell In a Cell, which is now a #1 contenders match. It's said that when Randy Orton is given something by WWE creative that he doesn't feel is right for his character, he turns it down in a nicer way by telling them to go "ask Triple H" - which is known to mean "no."

Jake "The Snake" Roberts noted this past Friday that there are three spots on his brain that they are concerned about and he will return to the doctor for another MRI in three weeks. She also acknowledged that timing is an issue, since Total Divas episodes are taped weeks before they are aired, which could potentially seem confusing based upon the current WWE storyline of the week. During an interview published Monday on Yahoo! Sports, McMahon was asked, "Is there any truth to the report that the wrestlers on Totals Divas aren't allowed to win the Divas Championship?" Nathaniel August of Mangrove Capital Partners was on CNBC today talking about WWE business, saying the WWE Network needed 1.2 million subscribers to justify its existence on a corporate level and he doesn't think they'll ever make it there. Stock was down about 5% today afterwards.

New Network numbers are supposed to be getting revealed at the end of this month.

As noted before, TNA does not have any more shows scheduled in the United States. They have just three shows in January and those shows are for the United Kingdom. There are reports, according to the latest Figure Four newsletter, of TNA’s office parking being empty during the week. As of this writing, the website hasn’t had Bound For Glory removed from their events page. If Dixie Carter is to be believed, word about a new TV deal should be announced by Friday.
