1) Twitch announced several new policy changes with the biggest being a Youtube-like content id system for music found in streams. At the moment only archived streams are affected and 30 minute blocks being muted as punishment.

2) Crytek states Deep Silver did not get the rights to the Timesplitters series as part of their purchase of Crytek UK (formerly Free Radical studio).

3) Valve's Source 2 engine is currently rumored to have been released to the public based on the recently released public toolkit for DOTA 2. At the moment, it hasn't been confirmed if its the whole engine or just a portion with the rest arriving at a later date.

4) Bioware reveals the project director for the Mass Effect series, Casey Hudson, has recently left the company.
