Because of this recent obsession with big men dropping "unneccessary" parts from their names. Rusev, Cesaro, and no more Langston for Big E. They'll likely do this more for no real reason because WWE marketing.

It kind of reminds me of once upon a when, and they started putting everyone's "nicknames" in the middle of their name unilaterally (For example, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase became Ted "The Million Dollar Man" Dibiase, or Randy "The Macho Man/King" Savage, etc.,) simply because they felt like it.
