The story going along is the band immediately demanded the WWE to stop using their song. The WWE ended up making a knockoff version which has been selling well enough that the band has been begging the WWE to drop the knockoff and go back using their version. WWE's been refusing their requests.

Supposedly either the WWE got the rights from the band's studio without the band knowing or the band reconsidered giving those rights and rejected the deal.
Well then I hate both the band and the WWE in equal measures.
