Third party would support them with multiplatform games, though. Let's be real, you're not playing CoD on WiiU when the party's on XBL/PSN. I don't intend/expect WiiU to be my primary gaming platform.
I will treat it as I did since GCN; it gets pulled out for their unparallelled first party shit. It's just the way it is for me at least.
