Not to get too ahead of anything, but by all accounts it looks like he will finish the season leading in BA and RBIs, and is currently 4 back of Davis for HR. It's not feasible to think he could do it again.
Such a ridiculous player right now. If, by some cruel act of some higher power, it came out that Cabrera was on PEDs of any kind I would actually just give up on baseball because the sport would not be fun for me anymore. HEARTBREAKING, if you will.

I feel like the "moneyball era" had tainted the triple crown a bit. People look at those stats as outdated but still, even with appreciating other advanced metrics, the feat of leading the league in the 3 Old standard stats is fucking AMAZING. Cabrera put together perhaps the best hitting season of the last 50 years.
