With Dolph Ziggler going babyface and AJ and Big E remaining heels, the direction at this point is Dolph vs. Big E for SummerSlam.
|
The previous rumored plan was for Big E to turn face and just take over Henry's supposed face push that never occurred.

The Wyatt Family will be in a six-man at SummerSlam. Based on the angle that was shot Monday, where they beat up Kane and apparently took him out of the Money in the Bank match, it'll likely be Kane and two partners taking them on. Whether one of those partners will be Undertaker will be made clear in the next few weeks. Originally it was going to be Kane & Undertaker vs. Shield. They shot the angle the night after WrestleMania when the Shield put Taker through the announcer's table. Unfortunately, Undertaker re-injured himself on that spot, so he may not want to return to action prior to next year's WrestleMania. We were told that he had made a decision and that the top four matches were set for the biggest PPV of the summer and not likely to change. Kane being put with the Wyatts suggest to me that Undertaker isn't working the show, since it only makes sense for his first match back to be revenge against Shield. Rollins and Reigns will work a tag match at SummerSlam and Ambrose will do a singles match for the US Title.
The Wyatt debut on Raw was said to be just what everyone wanted and management was very happy with how it went down.
The belief is that the crowd at the PPV Sunday in Philadelphia is going to treat RVD like they treat CM Punk in Chicago.
