1) Square Enix states the HD remakes of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 will support cross-platform saving and contains a new end credits video that is about 30 minutes long.

2) A week after Microsoft confirms they have dropped the fee charge for patches, Phil Fish announces a new patch for the XBLA version of FEZ is currently in development and is expected to arrive later this year.

3) According to the executive producer for Call of Duty Ghosts, there are no plans for the series to change from its current linear storytelling style to something different any time soon. The official reason was due to them thinking the series stories wouldn't be as effective or good if it was driven by player choices instead.

4) Major Nelson announces signups for the public beta for the Xbox Live 2013 Update starts today with one of the big features being the swap from the MS Points system to a real currency system.

To sign up for the beta all you have to do is turn on your Xbox 360 and select the Xbox Beta Program tile that appears on your dashboard. Then simply accept the non-disclosure agreement and you’re good to go.
