I kind of find Layla annoying as a face though. Like, she's cute as fuck and has skill and personality -- but she was Divas Champion for almost all of last year and no one gave two fucks. I mean, no one gives a fuck about female wrestling, so that's not Layla's fault. I just wish things would get more serious on that front.

There is so much potential for a meaningful Divas Division. I would even consider giving the division it's own writers, so that they aren't focused on anything but getting the girls over each week. I'd also try and get some of the more recent stand-outs of the division back -- Beth Phoenix, Kharma, etc. Saraya Knight (Paige's mom) is someone I would be behind the WWE signing, if just for a program with Paige to initially get everybody's favorite Diva over. Then, if the WWE likes her work, she can either stay on, become a trainer, become an agent or work down in NXT.

Natalya can give an open challenge to anyone Diva in the lockerroom and Beth Phoenix can answer that, kick-starting a rivalry between the former Divas of Destruction. Phoenix wins the first match and then blows a kiss to The Great Khali, reminding him of that time in the Royal Rumble, taking things to a personal level with Natalya.

AJ Lee could be revealed as the one behind Kaitlyn's gifts and such. That takes their feud to a different level, and AJ Lee wins the title by submission. Then Kharma returns and attacks AJ Lee, setting up Lee's first challenger, who Lee desperately tries to avoid competing against, forcing Kharma to go through basically the entire Divas Division first.

Sign Ayumi Kurihara (competing as just "Ayumi") and Hamada to contracts and have them compete on RAW one week to decide who gets a roster spot. Ayumi rolls up Hamada for the victory and becomes a new plucky babyface for the division. Hamada spends some time in NXT working with the girls down there, before she eventually costs Ayumi a Divas Title match against AJ Lee. Hamada and Ayumi then have their own personal feud.

Sign Cheerleader Melissa and have her just be Cheerleader Melissa. Maybe put Sara Del Rey under a mask and call her "Destructica" or something stupid like that. She could be a pretty awesome heel for a ladies' division somewhere -- maybe even exclusively in NXT (where she is currently a trainer).

Have Brad Maddox sign Lizzy Valentine as his new assistant. So she'd be the assistant to the assistant of the managing supervisor of Monday Night RAW. Vickie Guerrero gets jealous that this girl is here, so she puts her in matches against the likes of Tamina Snuka, because if her dream is be a Diva, then surely she can compete with the likes of them. If we're signing too many girls from the independent scene, maybe this role can be played by Bayley?

Meanwhile you still have Emma being Emma and awesome somewhere. There's your big babyface.

There just aren't many characters in the Divas Division, and I hope that changes at some point, because TNA has proven that having deep female storylines won't scare people away.
