I guess this is just Iwata taking responsibility for the botched Wii U launch and getting more hands on. He's said if Nintendo don't make a profit by this time 2014, he'll resign completely.

Could also be due to their current restructuring and expansion plan they started late last year and supposed to last this whole year. The majority of it was for Japan but they did want to improve some stuff for the European branches.
Bloomberg believes they are going to post a loss for this fiscal year while other places think its a profit but lower than originally expected.
