1) The president of Square-Enix, Yoichi Wada, announces he will be resigning from the company after it is expected the company will post a loss of around $138 million for this fiscal year. The biggest source for the loss was their recent restructuring plans which cost them around $106 million.

2) Also revealed by Square-Enix was the news of the Tomb Raider reboot, Hitman Absolution, and Sleeping Dogs all failed to meet their sales expectations and prevent a financial loss from being posted for this fiscal year. Square-Enix blamed the North American market for the slow sales compared to other regions.

3) Tecmo Koei announces they have split up Team Ninja into two smaller development groups although no official reason was given for the split.
