I was trying to think of a stupid gimmick for that stupid gimmick thread, but instead came up with this awesome one:
A wrestler debuts and he is talking a lot of smack to just about everybody. Real annoying kind of guy who the fans just want to see get beat down.
Finally he is scheduled to go up against one of the main event faces in what everyone thinks will be a squash.... but they never get the chance to find out! For the dude shows up encased in a giant bubble and claims to have contracted some rare disease and that for the safety of all he must stay within his bubble.
He still shows up week in and week out, though, insisting that he still wants to entertain the fans with his presence. He will also continue to talk smack and tell people they are lucky he has to stay in his bubble because otherwise he would kick their ass.
