Cena overcoming Brock Lesnar's vicious assault at Extreme Rules is an awesome example of the power of Cena. 2008 was example of overkill and making most fans just roll their eyes. The guy comes back from a "torn pectoral muscle" in a fucking month, gets #30 in the Rumble, wins said Rumble, decides to get his title shot at No Way Out instead, loses at No Way Out, but ends up in the Mania main event anyway. Then they wonder why so many people boo the guy.
This.
