According to the dirtsheets, Taker's medical status is pretty bleak right now to the point the WWE is considering making this year's Mania be his retirement match and have been tossing out a lot of potential matchups as a result.
They don't want him doing anymore physical type matches and whoever they pick is going to end up having to carry the entire match to ensure Taker doesn't get hurt and all the spots end up being protected/safe for his well-being.
