After a great 2011, if I recall this was after TLC, which was overall a fantastic PPV and a great finish to the year, and with all these "new" champions, it seemed like WWE were really ready to push young talent and begin anew.

Fast forward a year... besides Ryback, how many breakout stars were there this year, that really made an impact?
Maybe Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow, but nothing like Ryback levels. If it's not all just hype with him anyways.
