UK consumer rights aren't too bad, actually. We get a lot of useful ones. You are entitled to a refund whenever you want it, as long as you still have the thing you bought. You just have to give a reason the item wasn't satisfactory and it doesn't even have to be a big thing. "This burger isn't hot enough" or "This glass is too narrow" would probably work in a resaurant.
I assumed there would a right saying things like managing subscriptions and payments should be as accessible as possible. The fact I needed to phone someone wouldn't have been much help for me if I was deaf or mute, for example. Not very accessible.
