Yeah. I don't know if you're familiar with the website Women in Refrigerators, which was started by Gail Simone years ago right after the fridging incident to record and collate all the examples of women in comics being raped, dismembered, and otherwise suffering grossly in comparison with their male counterparts. Tumblr's down at the moment (for me anyway) but DCWKA had an interesting post this morning about why it's actually important that that moment hasn't been erased in the New 52.

Actually, if nothing else, and all storyline gripes aside, I like the fact that the New 52 has stimulated so much discussion and participation from the readers. Covers be getting changed because of them (see Catwoman #0), colour schemes revised, etc. It's kind of nice.
