You can be a former celebrity, like reality stars who are no longer on TV. She easily falls into that category. People like Elvis are still "celebrities" because they manage to be in a segment of the populations thoughts regularly and are talked about. Exactly. Go up to the next random person on the street and ask them who Chyna is and I'll bet you get a blank stare. Being a mainstream celebrity means that people outside of your fanbase know who you are.
