The Ecco the Dolphin series could be getting a revival in the near future according to the creator of the series.
Series creator Ed Annunziata revealed on Twitter he is currently in negotiations with Sega to see if they are willing to have a new game be developed with his biggest plea for fans of the series to show support on Twitter for a new game to Sega.

The original musical composer Spencer Nilsen has also joined in on wanting a new game done and would be willing to help compose new music for a potential game.
One of the potential reasons for the push for a revival or new game is due to the series celebrating its 20th anniversary earlier this year although the occasion wasn't celebrated or even acknowledged by Sega at the time.
