While not officially confirmed by Future Publishing, the 24 year run of Nintendo Power will be ending soon after Nintendo rejected plans to keep the magazine around in the future.

Tweets sent and later deleted by the senior editor and one of the writers confirmed the plans for the magazine to end its publication with staff currently being transferred to other Future Publishing branches.

According to a source connected with Ars Technica, Future Publishing had been in negotiations with Nintendo to find a way to extend the life of the magazine with a digital-only plan and Nintendo buying back the publishing rights as two offers given. Nintendo is rumored to have rejected both plans and favors just ending the magazine as soon as possible.
