ECG, you would think a company who puts out a game every other year would want to keep their fan base happy by ensuring the multiplayer is fun, balanced and bug free. MW2 had a lot of bugs and glitches months after release. Call me a whiner but until they prove they can release a good game instead of a rushed buggy mess I am not giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'm just hoping they realize past mistakes.
I believe IW never really bothered modifying or tweaking their engine besides some patch fixing nor did they ever used the modifications Treyarch did to the engine for World at War and Black Ops.

It didn't mean that Treyarch's version of the engine was that much better but the same problems from MW 1 ended up occurring in MW 2 and MW 3. They also believed it would have been impossible for Treyarch to tweak the engine to make it work on non-HD consoles or even add extra modes like Zombie maps until Treyarch proved them wrong.
