I agree with this. It wouldn't hurt Cena as much as it would hurt someone like Bryan (only threw him out there because... well, you all know why) or any other potential "up-and-comer" that may win the case. A lower card wrestler or someone who never had the title (for instance, Del Rio had he still not gotten the win last night) would have that follow them around like "Boring" did with Lance Storm. Cena is already so over he doesn't need the win. It would also break the "guaranteed 100% win" streak everyone has had with the case, keep him out of the direct title picture, and possibly build some angle that will keep him busy with someone while the main event picture shifts to someone else for a bit. Besides, we already have Rock/Cena, and Cena's "prediction" that it's going to be a title match with him as the champion can still be done. That's what the Royal Rumble is for.

I only have a couple "Late to the Party" comment about tonight:

-I actually enjoyed commentary. Thouroughly. With Cole not going so fucking overboard with heeling it up, JR there to actually CALL the match, and everyone taking their shots at one another (as opposed to everyone bash Cole all the time... JR or King even agreed with Cole on some points leaving the odd man out to be the contrarian)

-Speaking of commentary, they pretty much confirmed the possiblity of strengthening the tag division. I agree the current champs need some sort of "umph" to them, or they'll be forgotten as soon as they lose the belts. As teams go, they're about as over as 'Lo Down. No nexus gear leaves them with no identity, no name leaves them mostly unidentifiable, their new music is pretty generic, and no mic time leaves them with no charisma. As King said, "its like the bland leading the bland". Hell, a step in the right direction would be to have them come out and confront King about that. Or...

-Vickie/Dolph/Thwagger. Swagger can use the boost of a mouthpiece-slash-heat machine. Also, this has the makings of an angle where Dolph eventually strikes out on his own (and possibly turns face, if done right), and Vickie takes Jack's adivce and hires multiple clients (or even out and out builds a stable)... which brings me back to the current WWE Tag Team Champions. Really, they're so not over, they're not even clearly defined heels. They're tweeners-by-apathy. Vickie could get them to be hated by association.
