The first one sold well on the Wii with about 840,000 copies according to VGChartz's estimate but the 2nd one bombed badly with about 110,000 copies spread between Wii, DS, Xbox 360, and PS3.

I think THQ admitted the big mistake was focusing the development and advertising on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and ignoring the Wii which ended up being a huge blunder. They assumed the game would automatically sell better on the HD consoles (PS3 version included the Move) and for a while there was some confusion if the game would even appear on the Wii based on how they were hying and advertising the game.
