Starting this holiday season, Gamefly announces it will be giving all of their subbscribers free access to around 100 PC games in their digital services with no restrictions on how long or how many games can be played or downloaded.

For now, the company will only be including Windows-based games as part of the new service but did state their goal in the near future is to add Mac-based games for the free service. The majority of the initial batch of free games will be older titles currently in stock but the company stressed newer games will be also included for the free plan.

The company is planning to integrate their social components with the online PC games and Shack News services into 1 centralized service.

Also announced was if a subscriber decides to end their account with Gamefly, the games will no longer be playable similar to the model used for the free Playstation Plus members.
