Double Dragon II is joining the list of games this generation getting a remake or reboot as Korean studio Barunson Interactive announced today the NES and arcade classic is getting a remake similar in style to TMNT Turtles In Time.

The game is being titled as Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons although the final name could be rumored to drop the "II" from the title.

Confirmed so far are 4 playable characters, single and 2 player co-op modes, a 1v1 fight mode, a survival mode, 3D environments for gameplay, and the remake is mostly a port from the original arcade game.

Online multiplayer co-op has neither been confirmed nor denied at the moment.

The game is set to arrive this September for Xbox Live Arcade at the cost of 1200 MS points ($15) with a rumored PSN version expected later at a $14.99 price.
