Punk's not just a triple crown champion though. He joins the elite ranks of those who accomplished a Grand Slam championship:

  • World Tag Team Champion (with Kofi) 10/27/08
  • IC Champion 1/19/09
  • World Heavyweight Champion 6/30/08 (first reign)
  • WWE Champion 7/17/11
He joins 11 others in that group: Michaels, Triple H, Kane, Jericho, Kurt, Eddie, RVD, Booker, Jeff Hardy, JBL and Christian.

Also, Punk is the 23rd Triple Crown "champion", not the 2nd.
