Maybe because I don't really see this as a revolutionary moment. I think it could be an awesome angle for a couple of months and elevate Punk to a new level, at the most.
I'm being realistic in that there's no way the WWE would commit to turning Cena heel permanently because of the money he draws right now. A brief flirtation with a heel stable like this would probably be the most they'd do.
Punk would benefit greatly from being the leader of a proper stable for once; one that even includes Cena. Sure, it sounds a lot more like Nexus than it does NWO, but for those few months they'd be the hottest and most despised group of people in the industry.
