Nintendo confirms Zelda will not be getting a collection set to celebrate its 25th anniversary. They are still planning on celebrating the anniversary year long with other stuff but no actual collection set will be made.

Why? Because they did it for Mario last year, and didn't want to do the same thing two years in a row. Re-releasing Ocarina of Time for money on the 3DS probably played a part as well.

I was actually looking more forward to this being done than the Mario one once Nintendo hinted they wanted to do a special set for Zelda's anniversary. That one and Skyward Swords were going to be the main titles I wanted to pick up this Fall.
