The typical WWE film is sticking a superstar around somewhat famous actors and actresses. The Condemned had Vinnie Jones, Knucklehead had Malora Hardin from the Office, Legendary had Danny Glover, Patricia Clarkson and the girl who plays Becca Moody on Califonication and Chaperone had Lisa Simpson and the crazy guy from Grounded for Life/Superbad.

The next movie (That's what I am) has Randy Orton in it, but in a pretty small role. The movie got a good review and has been seen in a few film festivals. If this movie is a success I think that this will be the standard you will see WWE movies in the future. The superstars will have a role in it, but established stars will be in the leading role.

I don't think you will see The Rock in a WWE films movie again. He might wrestle at WrestleMania, but he won't lend his good name to a sinking ship like WWE Films.
