Mets sign Willie Harris to a minor league deal with a Spring Training invite.

Fuck yes. Now he can't kill the Mets by making a ridiculous game-ending catch for the other team. Probably has the inside track for one of the backup outfielder spots.

Second time this week that the Mets have brought in a guy on a minor league deal with a ST invite where I think they will actually be on the Opening Day roster (the other being Taylor Tankersley as a lefty specialist).
