I'm trying to think of a good reason why he still has that nickname, but all that I can come up with is that it's just for merchandise sales now, as giving him a new nickname might not sell well as merchandise and the WWE don't want to take that gamble.

But surely there has to be a better reason than that.
Why was Randy Orton called "The Legend Killer" for ages after his Legend Killer gimmick stopped? Pretty much up until it got replaced with Viper/Apex Predator.

Why is Kane still called "The Big Red Machine" when he has more black then red in his attire nowadays?
