The only catch is the new controller will only be available with Play & Charge kits and priced at $64.99.

Glad it's final. Now you can shut up about it. Having the Penny Arcade guys agree with you, which is more on personal reasons than ethical doesn't make you any more correct.
I love PA, but they're missing a lot and justifying it. Like Kalyx the Hypocrite would.
One more point on this, that people with a brain might read, is that you and PA both took a very strict look at the term customer. Part of the problem is that the customer base for a media is larger than that. It includes people lost and people they wish to gain. This is an attempt to expand the customer base by the very literal auspie definition Kalyx Tarded and Gabe and Tycho use for the argument.
But trading in used games was never free cash. There's no such thing as a free lunch, and there's no such thing as free games. Since these games pump money back into the gaming "economy," even for the purposes of other games by the same company, you need to factor in those "customers."
I wonder if they buy all their cars and houses new, too. Same argument, different media. I know people try and justify that disconnect, but let's be honest: Knowing a contractor doesn't make you buy new houses instead of old ones. Knowing an engineer doesn't make you buy new cars.

Too bad he's trying to be ironic.

I love BP enough I bought it and some of its content twice. Granted, the second time was at a reduced price, but neither time was it "used," so they saw my money.

Except there's a difference between not using the character and not using the likeness of the actor. You can use Marty McFly from Back to the Future, James Bond from James Bond, and Die Hard from Die Hard without the permission of the actors....You just can't make them look like the actors.

Which is hilarious, because he's entering a thread made by someone on ignore to post news posted by someone else on ignore, and most of the comments are from people he has on ignore.
