Had my first "rage quitter" on Thursday. They were using Ken and we had won a round each and, just at the end of the final round, he/she quit. I was just about to get the win with a lariet. The animation just started and he disconnected. Felt good, actually.
People still insist on running away and throwing projectiles or, in Akuma/Ibukis case, jumping backwards while throwing stuff down at me. Takes the fun out of it.
The best matches for me tend to be mirror matches. The playing field is even. What he can do, I can do and it's just down to who is the better player. All my favourite fights online have been mirrors. Genuine fun. Anyone else the same?
Some Ultra 2's seem a little tempramental. I read some guy did a specific combo into Guile's Sonic Hurricane when he fought Dhalsim. When he does that specific combo, the Sonic Hurricane inflicts no damage to Dhalsim at all, he can just walk through it and it wont detect him.
The Siberian Blizzard has a detection issue to. Some guy had me in the corner and I managed to jump out. He does the Ex Shoryuken but goes under me and misses. He's now right at my back and level with me in the air. I start the SB and it doesn't connect. I was kinda pissed at that but put it down to some kind of invincability the EX Shoryuken might have. In the next round, he does the Ex Shoryuken again and I'm able to connect with the SB this time. It's not the only time SB has randomly not connected for no good reason.
