New maps is a good idea, but c'mon charging gamers the price of a decent Greatest Hits game to basically add almost nothing to the game is insulting.

Overpriced is right, I would be fine in paying an extra $5-10 when I got the game if it meant that all future DLC would be free. That would be an excellent compromise as it justify the extra charge, the companies still make their money (and sooner) and we still end up with the addons.

No idea about the Halo 2/3, Ubisoft stuff, care to elaborate for me?
