Also important to note that I think they can do whatever they want. If they don't want to patch a game right away, then that's their prerogative. But if they want any respect from their paying customers, or if they want people to pay the price they're asking for DLC (which I personally don't find outrageous, although higher than I would rather), then they need to give their customers a reason to.
