It is pretty much an instant kill, and it is called a 'noob tube' because it doesn't take any skill to use it. You just point and shoot, and you kill people. It doesn't even have to really be close with 'danger close', and you just die.

It is retarded, and probably the worst thing to exist in this game. People can run around with scavenger on, and essentially never run out of grenades with it.
It does take a bit of skill to hit people at range though - plus up close you risk the grenade missing and not detonating at all.
