Coraline 9/10

Not quite as good as Nightmare Before Christmas for a stop motion animated film (though it obviously looked much better, especially on Blu-ray), but it was still really good and its amazing the amount of work that went into making it. Didnt get to see it in 3-D though.

Bolt 7/10

I would dare say that Disney's Animation Studio has Pixar beat on the graphical side of the equation and I liked the story but it just seemed like something was missing that Pixar's films usually have.

Watchmen (incomplete)

I dont know how to rate it. I had a very limited introduction to the graphic novel to get the jist of things, and from what I gather it was pretty faithful to the source material..but..Jesus Christ the first 2 hours are just torture to sit through since almost nothing happens. I was thinking "2 more hours of THIS??" and hour in. The last hour was very good though but I cant say that it redeem the first 2/3s. I ended up with the directors cut Blu-ray so maybe the shorter theatrical version wasnt as bad (I read an article saying the studio made them cut out a lot for theatres)..
