Michaels accused Dooley of not having any idea how to write for a performer of HBK's stature, and essentially told him that he's never going to work for WWE again.

This creates a bit of a dilemma, as Michaels is scheduled to defend the World Title against Kurt Angle at Backlash. Obviously, HBK isn't going to appear, so it will be interesting to see how the WWE brash handles this. Michaels still has over two years left on his contract, and seems content to sit at home collecting what is rumored to be over $200,000 per month rather than accepting a release.
