Given the option to eliminate all the wacky stuff and make Mario Kart a 'legit racing game', I wouldn't. I have a lot of other racing game options for that sort of thing. Perhaps the grand mistake was crafting Smash into something it wasn't. Don't get me wrong, no items on Final Destination is still a good workout for me, but we should embrace some wacky stuff every now and then. Smash is still the best brawl game out there, unless Capcom steps up with Power Stone 3.
