I am pretty happy at the moment.

As of recently, I've been trolling CheapAssGamer (as everyone in here should) and noticed that Gamestop was selling old Hori EX2 joysticks for 39.99. I didn't think it was much of a chance, considering every website on earth is out of nearly every type of arcade joystick, and I'm sure plenty of gamers have scoured the earth for anything that will work for SFIV. But I checked the store locator on the website, and low and behold...a Gamestop an hour away had one.

So I called up and they had it and I had them reserve it for me. All the way in Winder, GA (middle of nowhere), but it was close enough to UGA that I figured I would just make a day out of it.

So I get in the store and get in line, and the guy in front of me asks the guy at the counter how many fightsticks they have for any console at the store. I am absolutely relieved that I reserved it a few hours earlier, because I'm pretty positive this guy might have bought it had he been given a chance. Luckily, the store guy informed him mine was reserved...and he bought the other two fightsticks they had left. The guy said he ran a gaming website and needed the Wii Fightsticks for a Tatsunoko vs. Capcom tourneys going on soon.

So hopefully when I get home tomorrow I will open it up and find it in good condition. If not, I'll just buy some better parts for it. 40 bucks for a stick is a steal.
