He didn't rush back home. That's been a carried over misconception. He never made it Sunday. He also failed to show to the Saturday evening house show in Texas. His explanation on Sunday was that he couldnt make it due to personal reasons. This was of course an explanation given after he had killed his wife on Saturday. He was of his wits enough to call his boss and come up with an excuse for why he couldnt make it to a PPV that he was in a world title match at. And this was after he had killed his wife, and probably his son. A day later he killed himself. The lights were off at the house all weekend, and he had guard dogs patrolling the yard. He was found in the weight room dead, his wife in the living room, and his son in his bedroom. The weapons were recovered, but guns or knives weren't involved. this is the reports I'm hearing.
