I forget the details, but there is a certain limit for what you can get. At the Independence Bowl last year, the teams were allowed something like $350
of gifts, but most of it was for rings. The rest was Circuit City gift cards, so not bad there.
I've heard some bowls give the players like Playstations and stuff, so it is good.
