Yeah but that is the way college football works. Whos to say USC wouldn't beat Auburn if they played? While I agree the SEC is way tougher than the Pac 10, I don't think it is fair to USC to just completely wipe out their undefeated season just because Auburn played in a tougher conference. The Pac 10 isn't the Mountain West Conference or something, it's still a good conference. USC still needs to win out here though, so lets not get crazy.
I also agree with you and think Auburn is probably better than USC, Auburn was definetly better than Oklahoma the year Oklahoma went and got smacked by USC as well but that's just how the NCAA rolls I guess.
I think BC is better than Clemson, seeing how BC beat them when they played and simply had one slip up againest NC State. Yet going into last week BC wasn't even ranked (that changed after they beat #22 Va Tech) so I dunno
