Random 'Kai predictions for the Royal Rumble
 

1. L.A. Knight debuts at #1 on the Rumble. He cuts a promo, gets over. He has a solid 15-20 minute run before being eliminated by Omos.

2. Austin Theory will be the Rumble Iron-Man. He makes it to the Final Four, before being tossed by Omos.

3. Omos will break Brock Lesnar's record for Rumble eliminations. I'm thinking anywhere from 17-20. And he will almost turn face when he throws Knoxville halfway up the ramp.

4. Bayley wins the Women's Rumble. Drew wins the Men's Rumble.

5. Riddle's scooter will be involved with Kofi's desperation save this year.

6. Lesnar and Lashley doesn't end at the Rumble. That's a Mania feud.

7. the fans will bitch about Becky/Doudrop regardless of outcome.

8. Alphas retain.

9. Orton eliminates Riddle, because Every Man for himself.

10. (biggest shot in the dark) The most shocking appearance in the Rumble will be someone no one expects: Like Nick Aldis in the Men's Rumble or Thunder Rosa in the Women's.

1. Charlotte Flair is the last one in the Rumble after 29 entrants, leading to her thinking she won until the countdown hits.
2. Number 30 is Ronda Rousey, who just destroys Charlotte to ensure Charlotte doesn't get shoehorned into the Becky vs Ronda title match at Mania.
3. Roman Reigns successfully defends his title.
4. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman screw over Brock Lesnar costing him his title.
5. Brock kills somebody like Madcap Moss and takes their Rumble spot.
6. Brock wins the Rumble to setup Roman vs Brock at Mania.
7. Edge/Beth go over Miz/Maryse in a match that overdelivers
8. Cody Rhodes is in the Rumble match, and is eventually eliminated by AJ Styles
9. Cody Rhodes challenges AJ to a match at the next AEW PPV where he wins and turns full heel.
10. Vince McMahon allows this to happen under the condition that nobody can blade in AEW for 2 months.

Renee Young will win the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant

* Sasha Banks eliminates Charlotte Flair.

* Paige, Raquel Gonzalez, Aksana & Io Shirai are all in the Women’s Rumble.

* Bianca Belair wins the women’s Rumble.

* Ronda Rousey does not compete in the Rumble, but confronts Becky Lynch after she defeats Doudrop.

* Lashley defeats Lesnar with help from Roman.

* Roman defeats Seth.

* Edge & Beth Phoenix beat Miz & Maryse.

* The Forbidden Door is broken down when Kota Ibushi enters the Royal Rumble!

* Johnny Knoxville eliminates Sami Zayn.

* Drew Carey makes his Rumble return, not as an active participant, but supporting Omos, who gets revenge for Drew by eliminating mystery entrant, Kane.

* Ricochet doesn’t make it into the match.

* Randy Orton wins the Rumble and punches his ticket to WrestleMania.

- Miz and Maryse lose after Maryse distracts Miz by telling him she's pregnant and Edge spears him.

I just went down this weird rabbit-hole of thought where I convinced myself Riddle is winning the Rumble. Orton gets tossed by a heel earlier in the match, setting them up with heat (hypothetically), setting up Riddle to come in and take them out, goes on to win, is just as excited about it as his scooter race to re-contend with his best buddy for the Tag Titles after avenging him in St. Louis.

I can also see Vince chortling over the obvious “BROyal Rumble” headlines.

If you’ve seen the Big E/Kofi interview segment from SmackDown, Kofi was climbing a ladder and practicing grabbing something down. The same week as a TNT Ladder Match with Cody Rhodes. Don’t know if Kofi was hinting at something there…
