Meh, good for him. I don’t get why people who want to see him return seem to have this mindset that Punk NEEDS to go back to wrestling or else he’ll wind up broke. He doesn’t.

So, is he going head-to-head with the show Christian is hosting on History channel?

Definitely not. The guy has gigs lined up out the ass, apparently. He’s talented and well known enough to probably move into legit acting gigs too. I can see him being funny/effective in the right roles. And whatever he does gets a bit of media attention.

I imagine him going back to wrestling, part-time anyway, because he wants to and recharge his fame batteries. It’s his base. I can see him doing something with AEW either at or by the time they get to All Out in September. Could see him commentate on a show and an angle go down that leads to a match. He could do the old “heel” announcer pulls off the headset after getting called out spot really well. That always makes me mark out.

The MMA thing hurt his brand as a pro wrestler, but as an actor I think he can be successful.

Funny thing is before he announced he was going to do UFC, most people assumed he was going to try a hand at acting.

He even had some early buzz/rumors of going out for the Negan role on Walking Dead. Prior to him really slimming down for MMA, he more closely resembled the comic version of Negan than Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

If he would have landed that role instead of doing MMA and being on stupid reality shows, he would be far better off today than he is, instead of a bitter 40 year old who still acts like a 15 year old angst riddled punk rocker.

I also thought it was especially embarrassing that one of the things he complained about was how Miz main evented Mania but Phil never did, like Miz was beneath him and it was a slap in his face. Then fast forward a few years and he is getting embarrassed on an MTV reality show competition that happened to be hosted by Miz. Karma right there

This Mortal Kombat show looks to be the worst of the worst. I hate CM Punk, what a bitch.

Okay okay let me get this straight the science of Mortal Kombat never mind that you can't do 98% of the stuff they do realistically to people

Probably cause he fails at anything having to do with fighting.

This seems like such a shite premise for a series. I doubt many people will watch for more than an episode or two.
