My only problem with this is that Bobby Lashley was pretty terrible. I keep on having nightmares and flashbacks to "EAT THE CHEEZBERGER"

Bibby Lashley was incredible. His only flaw was that he didnt sound like a monster on the mic, but as a wrestler, he was AMAZING. He was a great great technical/power wrestler, on par with Brock Lesnar and John Cena. His mic skills are the only thing that kept him down.

FourFifty 04-03-2012 02:32 PM

Says the guy with 4 posts.....

Okay, let's look at why your idea is a bad idea, with a little detail.

WWE has a lot of big fish in what is becoming a smaller and smaller body of water. We have Lesnar, Cena, Triple H, Daniel Bryan, The Undertaker, Orton, Kane, blah blah blah etc etc. Putting Bobby back on tv is just going to take time away from the current talent, and talent that is still trying to get over. Another generic big man is going to take TV time from Cody Rhodes, Broodus Clay, Lord Tensai, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, and more.
There's a lot of talent, and the product is getting fresh again. WWE does not need Lashley. If anything Lashley will hurt WWE at this point in time.

whiteyford 04-03-2012 02:33 PM

Are we thinking of the same guy here, Lashley was pretty bland overall.

THIS!

PrettyCool 04-03-2012 02:40 PM

Nonsense.

Most ppl dont like Lashley because they think he is a black Lesnar rip off, but Lashley is a completely different wrestler. The fact is Lashley is more talented than Brodus Clay, or Lord Tensai (AKA Albert, who failed badly in all his WWE runs) and is a totally different wrestler than Cody Rhodes.

Fact is, Brodus and the other guys u mentioned are mostly mid card talent. Lashley is a main event talent. Lashley could easily headline a pay per view, along with Lesnar. Lashley Vs Lesnar would be a dream match. Two NCAA champs. Two former world champs. Two former MMA superstars. Who will come out in one piece?

Lashley was a one of a lifetime chance for the WWE. Firing Lashley was like if they fired Cena when he debuted as a rapper, or if they fired Lesnar before he became champ.

Lashley doesnt need the WWE, but the WWE can benefit ALOT from Lashley.

Jordan 04-03-2012 02:41 PM

I liked MY MAN BOBBY LAASHLEY

Innovator 04-03-2012 02:42 PM

No, Lashley was shit.

whiteyford 04-03-2012 02:43 PM

Most people are indifferent to Lashley because he's bland as fuck. Albert didnt really fail,he was pushed as a mid card talent and was a mid card talent.

Lol at MMA superstar.

He quit.

Lol.

That was Rosie, not Lashley.

But seriously, Lashley was phenomenal. He got a lot hated on because people called him Black Lesnar.

Are you wrong? Let's ask The IWC what they think....

ICW, is PrettyCool wrong?

Rammsteinmad 04-03-2012 02:44 PM

For every Rock, Lesnar, A-Train and others that come back, guys like Ziggler, Barrett, Rhodes, Swagger, Sheamus, Ryder, Bryan etc miss out on air-time. In a few years time, when guys like the Rock, Lesnar, Undertaker, Austin, Michaels etc are well and truly done and retired, who will WWE rely on as 'big draws' when it's Wrestlemania?

So right now, should Lashley come back? No.

Cena, Punk, Daniel Bryad, Sheamus etc. All get good character development. All world champs. All future legends.
The facts here speak for themselves. Bobby Lashley was a "missing the boat" moment in WWE history. If I ran the WWE right now, I would call up Bobby Lashley and open next monday's Raw with Lashley coming out and DESTROYING Brock Lesnar and then saying, "I am the ASSASSIN, Bobby Lashley. Mr. McMahon sent me to destroy you Brock". That would be an instant ratings maker!

Rammsteinmad 04-03-2012 02:49 PM

Fuck off, Iop.

whiteyford 04-03-2012 02:51 PM

I might be wrong, but was Lashley ever actually a draw?

PrettyCool 04-03-2012 02:51 PM

:?:

Stay ON TOPIC plz.

Yes, Lashley was a draw.

Ya know, yea, perhaps I'm the last one to the party, but PrettyCool has to be a sock. How can someone with 10 posts (and 4 posts at the time) know about the 100,000 replies thread in casual....

@prettycool

When?

Rammsteinmad 04-03-2012 02:53 PM

@PrettyCool

No he wasn't.

FourFifty 04-03-2012 02:55 PM

If WWE brings back a big man, it should be Rikishi. Hell, give him a cane, say he can't get in the ring anymore, and have him manage his boys. Use Rikishi to help get The Usos over.

When he was a champ in ECW AND when he was in one of the main events at WRESTLEMANIA against Umaga.
And I saw the 100,000 posts thread, you know, this board isnt the only one that has stuff like it.

Iop 'retired', new poster debuts, same terrible ideas.

It's Iop.

It's not cool, it's not clever, and it's not funny.

Nark Order 04-03-2012 02:56 PM

PrettyCool, I'm not going to troll you here. I think the main reason people aren't really sold on Lashley is because we're a bit sick of the "big stupid guy that can't talk" getting a push. It's happened plenty of times before and it never really goes anywhere. Also, WWE put a whole lot of stock in Lashley and he fucked them over pretty hardcore.

I don't really see a reason why he's needed. I suppose the image of a giant black man destroying somebody is alright but it's just not worth it to bring him in. He isn't reliable and he can't really talk. At all. WWE should be looking for "total package" type guys instead of big ridiculous people that can't hold a microphone.

Except for Lesnar will sell out arenas.

That's, you know... relevant.

MoFo 04-03-2012 03:06 PM

He botched the shit out of every move and spoke like a homo.

If you like big clumsy black men then Zeke fills that quota, no need for Lashley.

itsmeJD 04-03-2012 03:08 PM

Not to mention Bobby Lashley had the voice of a 12 year old boy...

Hanso Amore 04-03-2012 03:12 PM

After a couple years of pushing smaller guys to the moon, its funny that the night after Daniel Bryan loses in 18 seconds, A-Tra..er..LORD ALFRED...er..Lord Tensai and Brock Lesnar show up.

SEND IN THE HOSSES!
