Tales From The Borderlands’ release date is as of yet unannounced by TT. I assume they probably want to give people time to experience Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! first. If I had to guess, I’d say there’s a fair chance it may see the first episode released sometime around Holiday ’14 or Q1 ’15, although I will readily admit I have zero source to back that up and that is purely a guess at this point.

In other news, thanks to the often very small XP & $ rewards for completion of side and even story missions in BL: TP-S!, reaching every new level since about 15 or so for me has seemed to be a TON of grinding. Only at level 20 with my Wilhelm the Enforcer character but at least if nothing else, the main story is engaging. I daresay the new kid NPC who replaces Tiny Tina, at least to me, is annoying as all fuck.

Raven Reaper 10-19-2014 10:26 AM

Finally finished the main story game of Alien Isolation. Holy fuck. 15 hrs of gameplay and the replay value? I think I'm ready for the Hard mode on this one.. Too bad about the Expendable Crew DLC, it just crashed on loading screen after being killed by alien. And I like how you even choose the movie characters on it as well. Survivor mode is cool too. No multiplayer shit. Thank god. I nominate this for Game of the Year 2014 for me. Although, Last Survivor Nostromo DLC didn't crash and we get to play As Ellen Ripley herself and Sigourney Weaver's voice acting is still top notch just like the original!

P.S. I've done this game on Medium difficulty. The Alien A.I. in later missions, is getting smarter and almost on Hard mode as well. Even tried getting in the vents too to kill me!! Job well done, SEGA. And this is slightly better than the shitty ass Colonial Marines.

Disturbed316 10-20-2014 01:54 AM

Managed to get a copy of Shadow of Mordor, it's pretty hard to find in the stores here. So far I've played about 10 minutes so can't really say much about it, hopefully it lives up to the hype.

DAMN iNATOR 10-22-2014 11:34 AM

My time is currently split between Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! and Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition.

Just like Disturbed was saying about SoM, I was really surprised to find DH in a GotY copy. Shit seriously seems about as easy to find as a unicorn in a Plutonian rainforest farting fire.

Anyone grab Beyond Earth tonight? Really thinking of grabbing it...

El Vaquero de Infierno 10-28-2014 10:08 AM

Recently finished Dishonoured on easy and medium; I was like a fuckin' ninja the second time round!

I have also been playing Europa Universalis 4; finished 8th with Mali. I was gearing up to give the Portuguese a good slapping when the game finished.

ClockShot 10-28-2014 08:24 PM

After sitting on it for almost a month, I finally put Shadow or Mordor in the PS4.

A little too fast paced for my liking. Dying a lot. But once I get used to the combat and free roaming, I'll get the hang of it.

God damn orcs are like cockroaches. Get rid of 3-4 guys, 10 more appear.

There are two kinds of people in this world.
People who love Earthbound, and people who can eat a dick.

After downloading the demo and playing a few games, it sparked my love for the "4X" type games and have been playing lots of Civ IV lately. Forgot how great it is.

In addition to the usual Dota 2 and Smash 3DS

One of my all-time favourites. Game had so much character and personality. The settings were brilliant. Ridiculously good soundtrack as well.

El Vaquero de Infierno 10-30-2014 01:01 PM

Today I bought Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, cheap, for the PC. So I will be rockin' that bad boy out tonight.

DaveBrawl 11-02-2014 01:51 AM

Darksiders 2
Dragon Age 2

Same, played it for about 8 hours after finally giving it a bash and only switched it off because I got stuck.

Lords of the Fallen

More forgiving Dark Souls.

Dark Souls is super easy once you get the hang of it. Like, stunningly easy. To the point where you can beat the game naked and at level 1. The idea of a game that is more forgiving than Dark Souls, but still "like" Dark Souls, sounds underwhelming. Lords of the Fallen looks fun and Dark Souls-ish, but hearing that it's more forgiving just makes it unappealing. The combat itself looked way easier and not nearly as challenging, so that's a disappointment already. But to hear that it's more forgiving.... than what? You can't really forgive much more without taking away the entire reason Dark Souls is hard in the first place.

Also, I'm playing Fez and it's freaking awesome.

The thing about going for Clean Hands (No kills achievement) is you have to be super careful about where you "drop" unconscious bodies. I made the dumb mistake once too many, i.e. 1× and probably a couple more besides of dropping unconscious guys where I thought there were hidden sections of water and/or rocks. Was still a vast improvement over my last Low Chaos playthrough.

was lucky enough to find and purchase the GotY recently. Had ONE FUCKING KILL in the first stage of Knife of Dunwall. So no Clean Hands or Cleaner Hands achievements for me, fine. I somehow managed to not kill a single person throughout The Brigmore Witches campaign though and got Cleanest Hands which was awesome.

Officially finished BL: TP-S! earlier tonight, raid boss is weak as fuck though, just a repeat of end boss with the word "Invincible" added to his health bar. Motherfucker doesn't even level with your character, I was level 33, he stayed at 29, even though I had barely lost to him at levels 28 and 31. Worst of all, though, although he's farmable his legendary drop rate must be shit. Not ONE fucking orange-rarity item, so pissed.

Sunset overdrive now and cod aw later

Raven Reaper 11-03-2014 06:43 AM

The Evil Within.

DAMN iNATOR 11-04-2014 01:53 PM

FFS...went to local GS whete I had Bioshock Infinite Complete Ed. pre-ordered and 100% paid, and the guy helping me, who I just happen to know from places other than GS told me they didn't have it in yet and that it would be in in the next UPS deliveries within 20 mins. So, no big deal, I'll just hang around, no sense leaving...fucking like 10-15 minutes later he tells me he just got an e-mail saying it had been delayed in arriving till tomorrow.

SON OF A BITCH...:nono:

Disturbed316 11-05-2014 01:11 AM

Still working my way through Shadow of Mordor. The game becomes insanely enjoyable when you start getting more powerful.

whiteyford 11-05-2014 01:30 AM

You done the warlord mission where you have to make one of his supporters squeal?

Disturbed316 11-05-2014 01:56 AM

Not yet, just obtained brand and command so been messing around with that.

whiteyford 11-05-2014 01:58 AM

Haven't got those yet, think I'm on the 2nd tier of powers but been fucking around with the missions in between getting revenge on the orcs that kill me.

Disturbed316 11-05-2014 02:54 AM

I found tt's really easy to get side tracked, spend ages just during side quests.

ClockShot 12-03-2014 01:08 PM

Finished/platinum Assassins' Creed Rogue.

Now splitting time between Destiny and Far Cry 4.

Disturbed316 12-04-2014 01:33 AM

Halo Anniversary
Devil May Cry
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Ghost Squad
Aegis Wing
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
Batman Arkham Asylum

Playing the shit out of Shadow of Mordor. Not even doing story missions, just taking out captains and side stuff. Over 20 hours in and only about 1/3 done.

Clerk 12-16-2014 11:09 AM

Ever since I started playing smackdown here comes the pain to now I have been undefeated in wrestling games (record: 2,956-0) I have never been beaten online or offline.

Anyone play Towerfall: Ascension? Looks pretty fun/simple, not sure I wanna shell out $15 for it though. May wait for it to go on sale.

Helmsphere 12-19-2014 04:20 PM

With my penis.

But been trying to catch up alot of games I missed while I was away. Basically Dragon Age, Batman: Arkham Origins and Shadows Of Mordor.

Fignuts 01-01-2015 09:17 PM

Mega Man Zero on the WiiU VC

Game is hard fucking core.

Beat it a long time ago, but decided to replay it since Zero 2 will be hitting the VC soon. Never played 2-4, and I'm pretty pumped to jump into them.

ClockShot 01-02-2015 11:26 AM

Attention is now split between Destiny and Dragon Age: Inquisition for the foreseeable future.

whiteyford 01-02-2015 06:10 PM
